Nexuspolycraft wasn’t planned or carefully thought through—it emerged from a persistent desire to create something of my own, though I wasn’t sure what.
NEXUS is a bridge
POLYCRAFT is me at my best
I’m a renewable energy technician doing mostly mechanical work around electricity and heating systems. While I could push further in this field, I feel intellectually stuck. As an INFP, I need to experience things to understand them. I know materials—wood, metal, plastics, ceramics, concrete, stone, light—through touch, feel, and experimentation. But electricity remains elusive, too abstract for my hands-on approach.
At 50, I earned university entry credentials studying civil engineering, math, French, and industrial logistics. Civil engineering was the hardest to study for the cheer quantity of information to absorb in only a year, but I got a pass and could explain to you how I was proud of this achievement. All my other grades were higher but this one satisfied me the most. Was I on my way to embrace imperfection?
I could pursue Energy studies, but the friction is real: dropping work and invest financially and put all my time into this, intense math requirements, physics, ending up in an office doing administrative work I’d hate.
My recent ADHD diagnosis adds another layer to consider.
I was diagnosed 3 months ago, I felt relieved, there was an explanation to the way I was, the way I felt.
And there was in this world other people struggling with the same challenges.
Namely being normal
Have you heard this comment in your life, “can’t you be just normal!” shouted at you
I did not answer but what I could have answered is I have tried all my life, and failed at it.
I decided to thrive and embrace who I am, to welcome myself into the world as I was: imperfectly abnormal.
What I’m good at: exploring with intuition, experimenting, and always curious about how things work.
Nexus is a bridge between you and me as well as a platform in which I will explain to people like me how I get better at living every day, I have tips and tricks I learned over the years to improve, mood, stability, grit, and above all deeply enjoy life which for me was not a given, I would like to share this, and I really think, in the end, that these could benefit everyone.
I am passionate about 3d modeling and printing which I intend to showcase on this site.
My design process is simple and easy. This is what I am good at and what I enjoy doing so I am going to experiment with this, express myself and make pieces.
Seeds of change is what is happening to me, I am to be genuine, fertile and creative
